Matt Reeves' "The Batman" has more than surpassed the expectations of audiences and critics alike, pulling in a respectable $128.5 million in its opening weekend, while also earning rave reviews from critics. At a nearly three-hour runtime in its theatrical presentation, you'd be forgiven for thinking that there wasn't much in the original cut that didn't make it to theaters. However, Reeves has been hinting for weeks that a deleted scene featuring Barry Keoghan's Joker was cut from the midpoint of the film. Now, Reeves has released the deleted scene, and all we can say is that "The Batman's" deleted scene confirms our suspicions about the Joker.
