The Joker is easily one of the most popular villains in the history of pop culture. He was introduced in 1940 in Bob Kane’s Batman #1 as a psychotic clown. He loves murder and has a twisted sense of humor that prompts him to get the last laugh in the worst ways possible. His bleached white skin and devilish grin are his trademark features. He is sinister, vile, and loves to get on Batman’s nerve.
